Funding is provided if the trainee can provide confirmation of New Zealand, Tokolauan, Nuiean, Cook Island or Australian citizenship via one of the following: a copy of their Birth Certificate, Passport, or Statement of Whakapapa (signed by the Kaumatua and detailing parentage, place and date of birth), or provide evidence of permanent residency via a copy of their residency passport stamp (to include copy of personal details page) or residency letter from Immigration.
Funding can not be provided if trainee is enrolled in school or if another government organisation is paying for the course on behalf of them e.g. Work and Income.
Please note: That should the trainee(s) be eligible for funding they will be enrolled on a Polytechnic course and the account for the training will be issued to you by Cornerstone. If the trainee(s) is not eligible for funding they will still be enrolled with the polytechnic, and the billing for the activity will be handled by Cornerstone.
